A dry wind swept down from the North and over the ever shifting sands of the Hadarac Desert giving the sun drenched dunes the appearance of a golden sea. If it hadn’t been for the lone traveler on a simple brown horse prancing over the small hills of sand one could have sworn that the usually lifeless desert was nothing more then a misplaced ocean. Amara Alleine body heavily covered in a cloak and face wrapped in a coarse, white cloth sat upon the back of a well built work horse as his hooves sunk into the thick layers of dry grains. They were headed toward home after their useless little visit to. As the winds died down the searing heat of the wasteland kicked back in forcing the poor girl to remove her face mask and wipe away the beads of sweat that had collected on her face. Another half a day of riding through this forgotten territory while following the Beor Mountains and Amara would be once more near the edge of the Surda boundary line.
To be truthful she couldn’t wait until those taunting cliffs were out of sight. The whole reason she was roasting herself alive in this desolate and depressing area was to reach the dwarven cities as her mother had instructed her. She had said “Dwarfs stick their nose into the affairs of others much too often to not know where any dragon eggs were being held” Amara knew her mother’s words were a bit off due to the high fever but it was worth a shot. Yet since her departure a few weeks ago the young woman only seceded in finding a pile of rocks. The thought that she hadn’t found the target isn’t what put the fire headed woman in such a bad mood. It was the fact that she had to follow the mountains, a symbol of one of her many failures, for days on end or risk being gobbled up by the merciless sands. Sadly there was many a time Amara had considered taking her chances in the desert. . .
[[OoC;; Yeah I know this is my character's role-play sample but I couldn't think of anything. O.o]]

Esivar was tired of the constant flapping of Hakan's wings. After recieving a letter of urgent matters from Amara, he and Hakan took off as soon as they could. Almost all the way across the Hadarac desert, They had met a tribe of slave traders, Hakan dispatched them with one roar and a plummet out of the sky. Then as they could see the edge of the desert from the sky, Hakan's excellent vison spotted a horse and rider not far away.

Esivar and Hakan flew at an enormus pace, creating gusts of wind that drove an even larger dust storm behind them. As Hakan's huge white form dropped out of the sky, Esivar saw Amara walking toward them. It's no use, land, Hakan, we will only harm her. He said, as the white dragon hit the earth with a large Thud.

The sand that was once so happily planted around her was tossed in the air bedraggled girl to cover her eyes as Zel reared in fright nearly tossing Amara into the swirling storm. Quickly wrapping the straps around her arms the thin Ron’Tark held fast to her beast keeping the workhorse from bolting away as the dragon approached. “Hakan.” With a smile Amara gazed at the lovely scales of the giant beauty. Not seeing many dragons in her life Amara couldn’t forget those she’d had the privilege of already meeting. Turning away from the dragon and stroking the velvet body of Zel calming him as he pranced wide eyed on the sand bar. Once the bronzed steed was calmed enough to let Amara shift her attention the girl’s striking eyes turned toward the landing spot bits of sand falling from her dark cloak as she moved.

Esivar was shaken around when Hakan landed, he waited until the dust settled and slid of his flank, making sure not to get caught on of the huge white spikes along Hakan's back. He settled his boot clad feet in the thick sand and stepped across the hot desert earth and walked toward Amara. He touched his first two fingers to his lips and said, "Atra esterni ono thelduin," He spoke the greeting and made a slight bow.

Watching with a broad smile as Esivar landed awkwardly the heavily clothed woman used the edge of her thick boot to topple a miniature mound of sand ending it's short life with a simple flick. "Un du evarínya ono varda, my friend." Showing off what little she knew of the ancient language Amara nodded her head in return to the elf's bow. “What are you doing here in this dried up hell?” Brushing the small collection of sand that had piled upon her shoulders Miss Alleine discarded the face mask she had previously used for protection against the harsh sun and draped it across her saddle. With the cool wind picking up once more to swirl the vast desert to life and force the thick, red lock of the wishful human to dance to the right.

"I recieved your letter." He smiled walking up to her and bowing again. His blonde hair flapping around his face as the pestilent wind drove them to seek shelter. He wondered if she would let him follow her all the way to her homeland. He had heard that they didnt allow outsiders, but would he be an outsider? An Elf?

"Hm?" To tell the truth Amara had completly forgotten about sending for Esivar to discuss her little finding. "What do you make of this?" Pushing the heavy coat aside Amara untied an overloaded make-shift sling from her belt with a mischievous smile. As the cloth of the holster dropped around the orb a bright yellow gleam tinted the traveler's skin. This crystal was no bigger then the palm of the thin Amara and all across the object dark lines of the ancient language could be seen. At first it appeared that the words were simply carved into the strange ball but at a second and more interested glance one could tell the script was inside the globe just adding more the mystery that surround Amara's new toy. This was the only gift the disappointing Beor Mountains had seen fit to place in the young woman’s hands and of course it was obvious she would not part with it easily. "You seem to be better with this language then me. . ."

He reached out and waited for her to place it in his hand, once she did he allowed the desert sun to gleam off the orb of enchanting beauty. The elf looked deep into the depths of the orb and tried to decipher the Ancient language of which it spoke but he was lost in the depths of its golden gleam.

"What is it with elves and shiny things." Sighing Amara stepped closer to the mesmerized boy and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Esivar?" Shaking him lightly the human woma's teal eyes avoided gazing at her toy least it capture her two and they both be stuck here for eternity staring into the sphere.

Esivar twitched as a warm hand touched his shoulder. "Wha?" He said dazed. He looked up at Amara and her hair whipping in her face in the winds, and the sand kicking up around them, "Would you like som shelter?" He asked her, pointing to Hakan.

"Alright." With a worried look and a slight blush Amara released Esivar who still seemed a little lost in his own thoughts. Tucking a few wild strands of hair back to their original places the young woman took a second ti scan the horizon. Considering taking the orb back and keeping it out of her friend's sight Amara followed him to Hakan as they tried escaping the desert morning.

Esivar tapped Hakan's wing and the large white dragon lifted it, creating a pocket about the size of a large tent covering them. then sun, the wind, and the sands were instantly shut out as they stepped into the canopy of Hakan's wing.

Stepping under the beautiful membrane of Hakan, Amara gawked up at the intricate veins that created a wonderful maze along the white dragon's wing. "Lovely. . ." Moving her gaze off of Hakan and back to the elf who still held the glowing orb Amara inched closer to the scaly body of Esivar's dragon before taking a seat in the warm sand.

Esivar covered the orb with the leather and pulled the strap, tying it back again and handed it to her. "That doesnt belong in the hands of humans, but as you found it, it is yours." He said sitting down upon the sun-warmed sand and leaned his shoulder against Hakan's flank. He stared about the room-sized area covered with a white wing. He waited for her to say something, not wanting to break the calm silence.
